Maritza began teaching with Small World Yoga in September 2021, after moving from San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Black Swan Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training and wanted to share this practice with children. As a former elementary teacher, she knows the importance of teaching kids yoga that they can use on and off their mat. She strives to create an environment that is welcoming and lighthearted.

Maritza currently teaches an outreach class at Cockrill Elementary.
