Kristopher Morgan

Kristopher’s yoga journey began when he lived in San Francisco and it really only consisted of him sleeping on his yoga mat in the back of class! His real yoga journey began when he stumbled in the doors of Small World almost three years ago. As a Stage IV Cancer survivor, Kristopher was suffering from neuropathy and insomnia, side effects from intensive chemotherapy. After his first Power Flow class at SWY he had his first good night’s sleep in years, and in the following weeks found relief from his neuropathy pain.

After some encouragement from SWY Staff he decided to dive in head first and complete his RYT 200 certification with Baptiste Power Yoga Nashville in the Summer of 2019…a very transformative two weeks! Upon completion he went to work right away with Small World teaching outreach in schools from pre-school to high school soccer teams. He now gets the occasional, “mom, its that Yoga Dude!” , while he’s walking his dog Charlie in East Nashville.

Through yoga and Small World, Kristopher has learned what a moving mediation can do for a busy mind by linking one’s breath and movement. Most importantly he’s learned to give himself grace and looks to pass that on to his students.
