Kim McCulla (aka Kim Mikula) started regularly practicing yoga in 2015 after years of practicing meditation. She completed teacher training at Sanctuary for Yoga, Body and Spirit in Nashville in 2017, and is also certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Yoga for Children with Autism and Special Needs.
Kim uses yoga & meditation as a means of self-regulation and healing. She has an autoimmune disease that her yoga and meditation practice helps her manage. She is also currently studying Reiki and likes to incorporate awareness of the chakras into her practice and teaching.
She is known by most friends (and on social media) as her unofficial last name “Mikula” – the original Czech spelling of her family’s name before they immigrated to the U.S.
