Katie first stepped on the mat in November of 2009. A friend had recommended Bikram yoga as a way to bring more balance, strength, and focus into her life. After her first class she was hooked and began to incorporate not only Bikram, but other styles of yoga such as power, vinyasa, and restorative into her routine.
In March of 2021, Katie made the decision to take a year off from her corporate career to pursue a few personal goals, one of which was becoming a certified yoga instructor. In July of 2021, she completed her 200-hour vinyasa yoga certification at Rising Wolf Yoga School in Nashville, Tennessee. Katie’s teaching style is informative, approachable, and intentional.
