Joan Popkin

Joan’s love of health and fitness began as a youth when she started training in competitive swimming. This passion has continued throughout her life. During her undergraduate studies, she became a certified fitness instructor and later started incorporating yoga. Joan’s love of yoga and desire to share it with others led her to obtain her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2021. Her enthusiasm and ardor reflects into enhancing the quality of lives she encounters in the community through health and well-being. Joan is a native Nashvillian with a doctorate in psychology. She enjoys the outdoors, biking, reading, and loves being with her family of all boys, including their pup.
