We are grateful for Janaye being a HUGE part of our SWY family for the past 4 years. From teaching yoga at the womens’ prison to leading a yoga flow at the International Day of Yoga celebration, she has been a joy and a light on our teaching ❤️ #Repost @janayewilliams Little known fact – the first yoga class I ever taught was with @smallworldyoga I’ve always loved volunteering and being apart of something greater than myself, which was why I was and still am drawn to Small World Yoga’s mission. Today I taught my last class with Small World Yoga at the women’s prison. As I look back to when I was fresh out of yoga teacher training my biggest call was to make a difference. To introduce the powerful practice of yoga to those who may have never considered it before. I’m so grateful for the past four years I’ve taught with Small World Yoga and The opportunities to touch lives through this powerful practice. From teaching at the prison, International Day of Yoga, teaching at Metro-Davidson schools and libraries – all these opportunities to teach have been invaluable and again I’m so grateful. I encourage everyone to checkout the awesome things Small World Yoga is doing for the greater Nashville area – and if it speaks to your heart get involved and volunteer or donate. I’ve truly loved every minute of it #givetoreceive #whysmallworldyoga #smallworldyoga #mynashvillelife #volunteer
