Join @newinnashville for a yoga class benefiting the @cysticfibrosisfoundation on 12/21 at the SWY Studio. Your class ticket will be used efficiently and effectively to help support vital Cystic Fibrosis research, patient services and education programs. Fifty years ago, kids with Cystic Fibrosis did not live long enough to attend kindergarten. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s work has transformed how the disease is treated and it is working to find a cure for all people with Cystic Fibrosis. Because of the foundations work, those with Cystic Fibrosis have been able to attend college, get married, and have children – goals that used to seem impossible. Each year the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, through a 16-week recognition program and philanthropic competition, showcases the Nashville community’s top young professionals for their business, civic, and philanthropic achievements. As an honoree, Elam Freeman is raising money through a series of “Sweat for more Tomorrows Events”. To kick off the event series Elam will be teaching a power flow class at Small World Yoga! Healthy treats donated from Golden Roots Nashville will be offered.
