Often, SWY students at outreach locations such as the Davidson County Correctional Development center, CCA, and @roomintheinn rarely feel seen, heard or valued. SWY teachers bring yoga to these groups of men and women to not only connect them to their own mind and body, but also to help them realize their own sense of self-worth. By simply showing up – in mind, body, and spirit – SWY teachers are impacting individual lives on and off the mat daily.
